Amari Eden Living & Programs
Structured, non-clinical engagement sessions for seniors in retirement residences and transition environments — honoring creativity, dignity, and connection at every age.
OUR STORY
Visual art, storytelling, and craft activities that activate multiple cognitive pathways.
Personalized playlists and sing-alongs drawing on the deep resonance of familiar songs.
Themed conversations and gentle group activities that build genuine community.
Preserving life stories through voice recordings, photo collections, and multimedia tools.
OUR PROGRAMS
Each program is flexible by design. If a group wants to sing instead of paint, we sing. We adapt in real time to what brings the most life to the room.
Art and craft activities drawn from life stories and personal memories. Participants create visual journals, collage boards, or contribute to group legacy projects. Process over product — always.
Sing-alongs, rhythm circles, and personalized listening sessions featuring songs from participants’ formative years. Even as dementia affects memory and language, music perception often remains intact.
Themed discussions and gentle group activities designed to spark natural conversation and build real community. Low pressure, high warmth — everyone has something to contribute.
Using simple, free digital tools, participants preserve their life stories through photo collections, voice recordings, and short multimedia pieces. Full tech support every step of the way.
Studies across 21 countries confirm arts interventions reduce depression and anxiety in seniors with effect sizes comparable to clinical therapy
“Creativity doesn’t have an expiration date. We see the painter who hasn’t held a brush in years — and the stories waiting to be shared.”

Priscilla Silva is a healthcare and community engagement professional whose experience has largely been shaped through working within a family-founded hospital and clinic system in West Africa, where she also led Arts for Health initiatives focused on creativity, storytelling, and emotional wellbeing in care environments.
Her passion for senior engagement was shaped through helping care for her grandparents during the later stages of dementia in their family home, where she witnessed firsthand the power of conversation, familiarity, music, and connection in preserving dignity and moments of joy. Now based in Edmonton, Canada, she founded Amari Eden Living & Programs to create structured, non-clinical spaces where seniors feel seen, connected, and meaningfully engaged during times of transition.
Too often, seniors are defined by what they can no longer do. At Amari Eden, we see something different — the richness of a lifetime of experience, wisdom, and creativity waiting to find expression.
We deliver structured, facilitator-led, non-clinical engagement sessions designed for easy integration into facility programming. Every session honors each person's history, pace, and individual preferences.
No clinical jargon. No pressure. Just joyful, meaningful engagement grounded in evidence-informed practice.
We’d love to hear from you — whether you’re a family exploring options, a facility looking to partner, or simply curious about what we do. Reach out and let’s start a conversation.
